VIETNAM In 2013 and 2014, my wife, 3.5 year old son, and I spent a total of 5 months traveling from the Mekong in the south of Vietnam up to Hanoi in the north. These watercolors offers a refreshed view to this beautiful Southeast Asian country and its people for whom the war is a distant foot note. My journey from South through North Vietnam explores the stunning landscapes and intense working class coastal life that so defines the region. I found endless remote fishing villages to paint that were stunning in beauty and dripping with interesting people and shore life… very inspiring.
